Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on enabling seamless development and deployment workflows for research applications. You will be responsible for infrastructure automation, continuous integration and delivery, and environment management with a strong emphasis on scripting and cloud-native tooling.

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket/GitHub and Jenkins.
- Write clean, reusable code in Python, Groovy, or similar languages for automation and system integration.
- Work on AWS Cloud platform and manage services including EC2, EBS, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, S3, and EKS.
- Create and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code).
- Build, manage, and deploy Docker containers and images, especially on Amazon EKS.
- Administer both Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, support, and optimize application infrastructure.
- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps roles with L2-level expertise in AWS, Python, Groovy, Jenkins.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Groovy.
- Proven experience in CI/CD design and implementation.
- Solid understanding of containerization and Kubernetes deployments via EKS.
- Working knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
- Familiarity with tools like New Relic, PagerDuty, Splunk, and CloudWatch.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and applying new technologies.
