Team Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Bengaluru to independently contribute to building, optimizing, and maintaining infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with a global team to ensure efficient software delivery and operational reliability while solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
In this role you can contribute to ensuring the seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability of our services, which underpin the success of our global securities finance products.
Role Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support seamless software delivery.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to identify and address inefficiencies in the software development lifecycle.Implement Infrastructure-as
- Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Deploy and manage services on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Nagios to ensure system health and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with teams to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Stay informed about new technologies and practices to contribute to continuous improvement in processes and systems.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure management, or software development.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with their design and implementation.
- Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with build and release tools like Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, and experience with version control tools like Git.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Nagios.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.
- Candidates with AWS Solutions architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification will be strongly preferred
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working within global teams.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
- Work flexibly with up to 100 remote working days per year.
