Senior DevOps Engineer

Experience : 5+ years

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in AWS/Azure (EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, cost optimization, Reserved Instances).
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Strong background in networking (VPN, static routes, HAProxy, Nginx, OpenSSH).
• Hands-on experience with security best practices (IAM, firewalls, DDoS protection, certificate management).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Scripting skills in Bash/PowerShell/Python for automation.
• Knowledge of Proxmox, VM management, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with Kafka/Zookeeper, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize AWS/Azure cost structures while ensuring performance and reliability.
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and recovery processes using CI/CD tools.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker environments, and microservices architecture.
• Implement security best practices for authentication, network policies, and data protection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system outages, performance bottlenecks, and deployment failures.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, test, and release pipelines.
• Ensure 24/7 system uptime with proactive monitoring and incident response.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and disaster recovery plans.
