Senior DevOps Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• 6+years of experience in Linux administration, cloud administration, and web application deployment

• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

• Implement and maintain security best practices, including firewalls, SELinux, and access controls Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

• Experience with application autodeployment (Node.js, React.js, Angular, etc.) using CI/CD tools.

• Collaboration with the development team for environment setup, deployment, and troubleshooting Assist in deploying web applications across different environments.

• Implement load balancing, caching, and scaling strategies for high availability.

• Manage database migrations and optimize database performance.

• Monitor system health and logs using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.

• Key Skills Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.).

• Set up and manage web servers (Apache, Nginx) and database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.).

• Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization for cost efficiency. Manage cloud security, including WAF IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, shell scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.), and system tuning.

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS EC2, ECS, Beanstalk S3, Cloudfront, SES Lambda, Azure VMs, GCP Compute Engine, etc.

• Expertise in networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.).

• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.

• Deep understanding of DevOps methodologies and automation tools.

• Knowledge of security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle complex deployments, such as production and staging environment root cause analysis
