We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and security processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure a seamless software development lifecycle and improve system reliability, scalability, and efficiency and posses the necessary skills to lead the complex projects from conception to completion.

This position reports to the Sr Manager and is part of the IT R&D located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
• Monitor and enhance system performance, availability, and security.
• Implement observability tools for logging, monitoring, and alerting (e.g. New Relic, Grafana, Datadog).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Improve security practices by implementing best practices in identity management, network security, and vulnerability management.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Evaluate and implement security best practices for infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Review and assess existing software solutions, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
• Design and implement DevOps solutions that promote automation, scalability, and reliability
• Stay up to date with emerging DevOps and cloud technologies and recommend relevant tools and practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to best practices and documentation.

Who you are:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
• Familiarity with security best practices, including IAM, vulnerability scanning, and compliance frameworks.
