Job Purpose
As a key member of the Operations team, you will take ownership of release planning and deployment co-ordination while ensuring the stability, security, scalability, and efficiency of our environments. Your coordination skills will be essential in aligning requirements from Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services for smooth delivery of both major and hotfix releases.
What You Will Do:
Release Coordination:
- Plan, schedule and resource major release deployments
- Create and manage tracking tickets related to manifest changes; verify completeness and accuracy of those changes prior to deployment.
- Serve as a liaison with Customer Success for non-standard and customer-specific deployments.
- Coordinate with Professional Services for deployments to project environments.
- Represent Operations in Go/No-Go meetings, providing readiness assessments and risk evaluations. Assign, coordinate, and participate in execution of release deployments.
- Lead communications to customers during release windows, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Plan, resource, and coordinate Hotfix deployments in partnership with Product Management and Customer Success teams.
Technical Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee deployment processes across customer environments.
- Act as L2 responding to alerts and manage incidents, ensuring timely resolution and proper root cause analysis. Fulfill service requests, including access management, system changes, and environment updates.
- Configure, and deploy new customer environments using Infrastructure as Code templates.
- Continuously improve deployments from both process and technical perspective to enhance reliability and speed. Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and performance.
- Participate in activities aimed to Improve how we run our SaaS service
And other duties as assigned.
What to Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Operations or similar role.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation).
- Proficiency with Public cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Datadog, PagerDuty).
- Experience with incident response and change management practices.
