Summary:

This position is part of the expanding DevOps group that combines teamwork, innovation, work/life balance, and autonomy. You will contribute to the evolution of our AWS cloud infrastructure that supports Curriculum Associates’ i-Ready SaaS application as well as internal systems.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

You will develop and advance our (“shift left”) capabilities in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.

You will build, operate, scale, and troubleshoot the Curriculum Associates SaaS infrastructure.

You will operate in an Agile environment, where priorities can shift quickly, and there is a need to be adaptable. You will have an interest in and focus on AI and ML, as well as traditional Dev Ops.

You will enhance our monitoring tools, build infrastructure, and source code management. In collaboration with other teams. You’ll make sure our infrastructure and applications that depend on it work together seamlessly.

You will support other teams’ build and infrastructure needs on an as needed basis.

You will write tools for systems and infrastructure automation.

Required Job Skills and Abilities:

Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.

Skill in establishing clear requirements and direction from collaboration with dev & product teams.

General analysis/problem solving and ability to develop creative solutions.

Experience with AWS (experience with other cloud providers is a bonus)

Knowledgeable in the latest AI & ML trends and technologies.

Have an understanding of the AI & ML lifecycle.

Required Education and Experience:

7+ years of DevOps experience

Experience with AI/ML and the ML Lifecycle.

In depth knowledge of the AWS AI & ML suite of services, such as... SageMaker Bedrock & Agentic AI

Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.

Knowledge of ML Flow

General AWS administrative functions, such as working with IAM

Infrastructure as Code approaches: Terraform or CloudFormation experience. AWS Service Catalog etc...

Experience with languages such as Python.

Experience with MySQL, Java/Tomcat/Apache, Splunk, and open-source tools for systems monitoring/management.

Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Nexus

Experience Using ECS, Kubernetes Or Other Container Orchestrators.

Experience operating a 24/7 production web application.

Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.

General analysis/problem solving and ability to develop creative solutions.

Amazon Web Services experience (SageMaker, Bedrock, EC2, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, DynamoDB) very desirable

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience in a technical capacity.
