Your role
Are you passionate about building high performance applications? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate? We’re looking for someone with these qualities to help us by:

• developing production-level code for a large-scale modern application within a cloud setup
• being a key contributor to extending the platform
• collaborating closely with the Business Product Owner, Database and API developers, and Quality Assurance professionals
• ensuring code quality by using unit tests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
• mastering state-of-the-art technologies and a complex business domain
• sharing knowledge across teams and division representatives
• managing your development tasks end-to-end and taking ownership of it
  
  

Your team
You will be working in UBS Partner within the Asset Management division developing an advisory platform using the state-of-the-art technologies in the Azure Cloud.

Your expertise

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and UI development.
• strong understanding of TypeScript (Generics, Mapped types, type guards etc.)
• experience with backend integration (REST APIs/ GraphQL/ WebSockets).
• experience with configuring build pipelines (Gitlab, Azure DevOps).
• experience in configuring one or more modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, esbuild, Parcel, Rollup) for UI projects.
• system design skills: Strong understanding of frontend architectures, component-driven design, react optimizations and scalability
• test Coverage & Quality Assurance: Ability to define and implement test coverage strategies (unit, integration) and ensuring high test coverage (80%+ where applicable) without slowing development.
