Responsibilities

As a Senior Full Stack Developer for AstraZeneca’s Enterprise IoT platform, you'll play a crucial role in managing and strategizing IoT Edge infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing full-stack software solutions for IoT devices and Edge device modules.
• Collaborating with internal teams for full-stack deployments, updates, and support of IoT topologies.
• Building and maintaining both server-side logic and front-end interface utilizing modern frameworks.
• Serving as a subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of IoT platforms, device security, onboarding, and provisioning.
• Consulting with technology organization members and sharing expertise on full-stack IoT solutions.
• Identifying and resolving software bottlenecks and bugs.
• Collaborating with other platform teams to share domain experience in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Ensuring technical solutions align with AstraZeneca’s reference technology standards.
  
  

Essential Skills/Experience

• Expertise in frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js, and backend technologies with Node.js or Python.
• Knowledge of cloud components (especially AWS), and distributed computing.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud technologies (AWS Lambda, AWS IoT CORE services, S3, RDS/No-SQL).
• Strong understanding of Linux, Unix systems, IP networks, and security methodologies (PKI, symmetric key attestations).
• Experience with scripting languages like Shell Scripts and Python.
• Understanding of information security techniques (PKI, TPM attestation, SSH key validation, TLS).
• Experience with tools like Terraform for automation and configuration management.
• Proficiency in source code management tools (SVN, Git, VSTS).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for fast-paced and high-impact environments.
• Proficiency with databases (NoSQL or SQL).
• Fundamentals of ML and experience in computer vision projects are a plus.
  
  

Desirable Skills/Experience

Candidates should have 8+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on solution development. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products is essential.
