In this role, you will lead the development of robust, scalable, and user-friendly iOS applications that deliver exceptional experiences to our users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, backend, and QA, to drive technical excellence and bring our Healthtech vision to life.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in iOS development, a solid understanding of GraphQL and RESTful APIs, and familiarity with FHIR standards for healthcare applications. Additionally, knowledge of Pub/Sub patterns and WebSocket principles for real-time and event-driven architectures will be highly valued.

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will contribute to technical decision-making, mentor junior engineers, and help establish best practices for iOS development. Responsibilities:

iOS Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Leverage Combine or RxSwift to build dynamic interfaces using SwiftUI.
• Utilize Swift Concurrency to develop highly responsive and efficient applications.

API Integration & Architecture:

• Integrate GraphQL APIs alongside RESTful APIs to deliver efficient and dynamic data handling.
• Implement FHIR-compliant solutions for seamless interoperability in healthcare applications.
• Design and implement real-time features using Pub/Sub patterns and WebSocket principles.
• Implement security best practices when parsing data from APIs using various encryption standards.
• Make good use of NSURLSession, Alamofire & SocketIO frameworks for network communications.

Architecture & Technical Leadership:

• Define and implement architectural patterns, such as MVVM or other clean architecture principles, for scalable and maintainable codebases.
• Guide the team in adopting best practices for modular development, dependency injection, and automated testing.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and security.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:

• Partner with backend engineers to define data schemas and integrate services into the iOS platform.
• Work closely with QA teams to establish automated testing frameworks and ensure bug-free releases.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations.

Mentorship & Team Development:

• Mentor junior and mid-level iOS engineers, providing guidance and fostering growth within the team.
• Document development processes, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Play an active role in hiring by conducting technical interviews and evaluating candidates.
• Collaborate with all other engineering teams to ensure seamless cross-platform communication and functionality.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, frameworks, and best practices in iOS development.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Address technical debt and enhance the scalability and maintainability of the codebase.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of published apps.
• Programming Languages: Expertise in Swift and SwiftUI; familiarity with Objective-C is a plus.
• iOS SDK: Deep knowledge of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Combine.
• API Expertise: Strong understanding of GraphQL and experience integrating GraphQL APIs alongside RESTful APIs.
• FHIR Standards: Familiarity with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) or willingness to learn and implement FHIR-compliant solutions.
• Event-Driven Systems: Knowledge of Pub/Sub patterns and WebSocket principles for building responsive, real-time applications.
• UI Development: Expertise in building pixel-perfect UIs and working with design systems.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing (e.g., XCTest) and UI testing frameworks (e.g., XCUITest).
• Tooling: Proficiency with Xcode, CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager, and Git.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automating builds, testing, and deployments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
