Overview
IT Administrator & Desktop Support Engineer (Google Workspace Expert)
We are looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated IT Administrator & Desktop Support Engineer with in-depth experience managing Google Workspace environments, desktop support, and overall IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and efficient IT ecosystem, handling user support, system administration, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our global team.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide **end-user desktop support** (Windows/Mac) for software, hardware, printers, and network-related issues.
* Administer and manage **Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)** – including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Admin Console, Groups, Meet, Vault, etc.
* Maintain user accounts, email configurations, group permissions, and device policies in Google Workspace.
* Handle IT onboarding/offboarding – user setup, device configuration, access provisioning, and deactivation.
* Monitor and manage **network infrastructure**, Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, providing excellent customer service.
* Ensure compliance with security policies and perform regular IT audits.
* Maintain inventory of hardware/software assets and license renewals.
* Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, repairs, and tech support as required.
* Implement and maintain backup systems, endpoint protection, and updates.
* Provide documentation and training for users on tools and best practices.

### **Required Qualifications & Skills:**
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* **4+ years** of experience in IT administration and desktop support.
* **Hands-on expertise in Google Workspace Administration** is a must.
* Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, hardware setup, remote desktop tools, and basic networking.
* Experience with firewalls, VPNs, cloud storage, antivirus solutions, and basic scripting.
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in remote desktop support for distributed teams is a strong plus.

### **Preferred:**
- English language is mandate and good with communication
- Google Workspace Administrator Certification (if any).
- Experience with IT helpdesk tools (Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SaaS tools like Slack, Zoom, Notion, etc.
