Senior Java Developer

Team owns a number of micro-services that already serve website and mobile apps critical functionalities in production like: items availability (aka "inventory-cache"), stores geo-search, items details. Some services are getting ready to handle up to 200k RPM during the peak period.

The services are written using Java 21 with Spring Boot 2.0 and hosted in GKE using different GCP services like: CloudSQL, Firestore, PubSub.

Responsibilities

New features implementation

Unit, integration and system tests support

Pipelines building & tuning (we have a number of examples already)

Technologies research

Once adopted: participation in new services design

Requirements

4 - 8 years of experience as Java back end developer

Strong Java 21 and Spring Framework

Hibernate

Kubernetes/Openshift experience

GCP or Any cloud expereince

Nice to have

SQL
