The Team

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled software engineer for S&P Global Market Intelligence. This developer would help us to accelerate our Energy Transition work.

The Impact: As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will be part of the development team that manages and supports the Internal applications that are supporting Energy Dataset.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems, analyze, and isolate issues
• Build solutions to develop/support key business needs
• Engineer components and common services based on standard development models, languages, and tools
• Produce system design documents
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners
• Leading a small team and deliver high value products
• Quickly learn new and internal technologies.
  
  

• Bachelor's / master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of significant experience in web development using
• Programming Languages and Libraries: C#, ASP .NET MVC, .NET Core, Container platforms, Java Script, jQuery, Typescript, HTML, Front End Web Development
• Good database concepts and experience working with SQL Server T-SQL, PosgreSQL
• Interface Protocols & Standards: HTTP, JSON, Restful Services, MS Web API
• Experience or exposure to GenAI/MCP tools
• Frameworks and Patterns: SPA Framework, Entity Framework, WCF, MVVM, MVP
• Experience of GraphQL, Micro Frontend, ReactJS will be preferred.
• Operating Systems: Windows
• Processes: Scaled Agile Framework, Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Software, Design Patterns, Agile Programming, Cross-browser Compatibility
• Ability to resolve serious performance related issues through various techniques, including testing, debugging and profiling
• Possess a true “roll up the sleeves and get it done” working approach; proven success as a problem solver, operating as a client-focused self-started
