Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and manage our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in vendor management, cloud infrastructure, SD-WAN, and dynamic routing protocols to ensure robust, secure, and scalable network operations. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing vendor relationships, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge networking technologies to support business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design and Implementation: Architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based networks, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with network hardware, software, and service vendors, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Design and manage network configurations for cloud environments (e.g.Azure), ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.
• SDWAN Deployment: Implement and optimize SDWAN solutions to enhance network agility, reduce costs, and improve application performance.
• Dynamic Routing: Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) to ensure efficient and reliable data flow across complex network topologies.
• Network Security: Collaborate with cyber teams to implement firewalls, VPNs, Zscaler and other security measures to protect network infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and capacity management ensuring optimal network efficiency.
• Documentation and Training: Maintain detailed network documentation and provide training to internal teams on network operations and best practices.

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering or administration.
• Proven experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure) and hybrid network environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (e.g. Aruba / Silverpeak).
• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols (BGP) and their implementation in large-scale networks.
  
  

• Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent Aruba / Palo Alto certification.
• Cloud certifications (e.g. Azure Network Engineer Associate).
• SD-WAN specific certifications (e.g. Aruba / Silverpeak SD-WAN).
  
  

• Proficiency in network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto) and software tools.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. Wireshark, Zabbix).
• Familiarity with DDI platforms (Efficient IP).
• Familiarity with scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) for network management.
• Knowledge of firewall and security appliances (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security models (Zscaler ZIA & ZPA) and network segmentation.
  
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like Intent-Based Networking or Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
