Senior Network Engineer - IT Infrastructure

Job Description:

• Administrate and provide support for the Network infrastructure.
• Own and resolve the issue until resolution in time bound manner.
• Flexible enough to work in extended hours as and when needed.
• Good understanding of CCNA, CCNP, certification is advantage.
• Configuring & managing network Switches, Routers, firewall and Access points.
• Hands on experience with firewall Palo Alto, Sophos, Cyberoam, Cisco ASA firewalls.
• Configuration and administration Netgear, Cisco, Dlink switches and routers.
• Provide L2/L3 support to all network, firewall related issues.
• Manage and maintain entire local office and DC-DR network infrastructure.
• Expert in switching, routing, sub netting, firewall, network security.Good Understanding of Servers, virtualization and storage devices.
• Understanding of Storage concepts RAID/SAN/NAS/ISCSI
• Experience into network cabling, port setup and inter-site connectivity.
• Able to manage ISP, Routers and Vendors.
• Performing off-hours work to support customer changes.
• Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
• Able to maintain VIOP devices.
• Good Understanding of AD/DNS/DHCP and routing concepts.
• Experience of monitoring tools NAGIOS
• Basic understanding of ISMS and compliance management.
• Experience in VPN management and troubleshooting.

Must have skills:

• Candidate should have good hands-on experience in administration of firewall, switches, routers and security devices.
• Should have hands-on experience and knowledge of Switching, VLAN, Routing, Sub netting.
• Cloud Network security (Azure, AWS, GCP other cloud) configuration knowlwdge.
• Configuration of AP’s, VIOP devices, load balancer, LAN, VLAN.
• Expert in network level troubleshooting.
• Able to implement network upgrades in off hours.
• Expert in configuration of network devices like switches, routers, firewall etc.
• Administrate firewall, security policies, UAM and keep the security definitions up to date.
• Must have basic knowledge of Windows/linux Server Operating System.
• Must have working experience and knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Expert in network troubleshooting, security policies, user access management.
• Must have knowledge on any virtualization platform VMware, OVM, Citrix, Hyper-V.
• Own and maintain the DC-DR network infrastructure.
• Experience into site-site data replication and services.
• ISP and site connectivity management.
• Ensure network monitoring is in place.
