We are seeking a highly technical Senior Network Engineer / Network Architect to design, build, and operate large-scale enterprise and multi-cloud network environments. This role is hands-on and requires deep expertise in routing, security, DNS, load balancing, and cloud connectivity across AWS, OCI, and GCP.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

• Design, implement, and operate resilient hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures
• Engineer and troubleshoot Layer 3 routing using BGP, static/dynamic routing, and path optimization
• Design and support secure connectivity using IPsec VPNs, FastConnect, and Direct Connect
• Architect and manage cloud networking constructs: VPC, VCN, subnets, TGW, DRG, route tables, and security groups
• Provide deep-dive troubleshooting for complex network issues across on-prem and cloud environments
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches, ASA/Firepower firewalls, and F5 load balancers
• Administer F5 LTM, GTM, iRules, SSL offload, certificate lifecycle management, and cipher policies
• Own and operate DNS infrastructure, including design, resolution flow, and troubleshooting
• Perform packet-level analysis using Wireshark and tcpdump to isolate performance and connectivity issues
• Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
• Integrate network solutions with security, application, and platform engineering teams
• Support production environments, including incident response and root cause analysis
  
  

• 8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in large-scale or enterprise environments
• Expert-level knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and security fundamentals
• Strong hands-on experience with BGP, IP routing, VPNs, and network segmentation
• Deep expertise in DNS (mandatory)
• Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms (LTM, GTM, iRules)
• Proven experience with cloud networking in AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and GCP
• Hands-on experience with packet capture and traffic analysis
• Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates and cipher security configurations
  
  

• CCNP or CCIE certification
• Strong experience with network automation and IaC (Terraform preferred)
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring and observability tools
• Experience operating networks in regulated or high-availability environments
  
  

• Strong technical leadership and ownership mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead complex network initiatives end-to-end

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 3,380,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
