About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior NLP Engineer to lead the development and optimization of advanced natural language processing solutions within our AI Center of Excellence. Based in Noida (on-site, 5 days per week), this role will focus on designing scalable NLP systems, fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), and driving innovation in applied AI for mission-critical applications.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver NLP-driven solutions that align with business and product strategies. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise, leadership ability, and a forward-looking perspective on the evolution of NLP and generative AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of NLP models and pipelines for diverse business use cases (classification, entity recognition, summarization, semantic search, etc.).
• Drive innovation in the use of large language models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, prompt optimization, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Architect and implement scalable, production-ready NLP systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain frameworks for evaluation, benchmarking, and continuous improvement of NLP models.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, data science, and UX teams to integrate NLP features into products and workflows.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, establishing best practices and fostering technical growth.
• Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and ethical AI guidelines.
• Stay at the forefront of NLP and generative AI research, proactively bringing new ideas and approaches into the organization.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in NLP, AI, or machine learning, with at least 2+ years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Proven expertise in building and deploying NLP models using frameworks such as Hugging Face, spaCy, NLTK, or Gensim.
• Strong programming skills in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Hands-on experience with transformer-based architectures, embeddings, and attention mechanisms.
• Track record of delivering NLP applications at scale in production environments.

• Expertise in fine-tuning LLMs, building RAG pipelines, and leveraging vector databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps practices.
• Experience leading teams or projects in AI/ML.
• Background in computational linguistics, semantics, or applied research.
