Job Title: Senior PHP Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable, and high-performance PHP applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure high-quality application development and delivery.
• Architecture & Design:
• Lead the architecture and design of new features and modules, ensuring they are scalable and optimized for performance.
• Contribute to technical discussions, ensuring that the best technologies and methodologies are used.
• Implement solutions to technical challenges such as performance issues, scalability, and security.
• Code Review & Mentoring:
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and quality requirements.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers, helping them grow in their roles.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Testing & Debugging:
• Write unit tests and automated tests to ensure code quality and minimize bugs.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Database Design and Management:
• Design and optimize database structures, ensuring the efficient retrieval and storage of data.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Performance Optimization:
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and efficiency.
• Ensure applications are scalable and can handle high levels of traffic and large datasets.
• Security:
• Implement security best practices to ensure applications are secure from common vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends and apply patches or updates when necessary.
• Deployment & Maintenance:
• Manage deployments to production and staging environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Monitor and maintain live applications, ensuring they are always running optimally.

Skills and Qualifications:

• PHP Expertise: Advanced proficiency in PHP and popular PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Frontend Integration: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular) to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces.
• Database Management: Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM (Object Relational Mapping) libraries such as Eloquent or Doctrine.
• Version Control: Proficient in using version control systems, particularly Git.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing tools and frameworks like PHPUnit, Behat, or similar.
• API Development: Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and understanding of JSON, OAuth, and WebSocket.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Performance Optimization: Experience with application performance optimization techniques, caching strategies, and profiling tools.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, participating in sprints, and using project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Security Best Practices: In-depth understanding of web application security practices (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, etc.).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1+ year of professional experience as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
