Senior Principal Business Analyst

Summary

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Technology & Scientific Computing(TSC) team in Development.

Within Development, our core statistical computing environment is used for submissions as well as exploratory data science related activities. Hosting a wide range of scientific software, the goal is to provide a robust and state-of-the-art platform for our 1500+ users. We are looking for someone to ensure customer satisfaction and continued improvement of our knowledge hubs.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with various user communities (primarily Biostatisticians and senior Data scientists) to identify high priority subject areas
• Work with end users to articulate the business value of requested demands
• Support resolution of user demands
• Contribute to gap analyses between the core end user requirements and the existing technology landscape. Help drive change management and uptake of emerging tools and ways of working
• Write technical content for our knowledge hubs, share and promote them to a wide range of users
• Have in-depth understanding of the validation procedures followed in a regulated environment
• Support definition, implementation and tracking of effectiveness of best practices.
• Ability to drive process specific improvements as part of platform initiatives. Contribute to User acceptance testing in formal validation
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field
• Candidates with statistical, pharmaceutical, clinical background are preferred
• Familiarity with writing content using (R)markdown and/or quarto.
• Deep understanding of general GxP and computer systems validation principles
• Broad familiarity with a wide variety of technical subjects (R, python, Kubernetes, git, etc.) and the ability to provide useful examples and insights to teach others
• Ability to understand and communicate with many different stakeholders, e.g., those in business, IT and quality.
• A solution-oriented mindset, Good R programming skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language).
