Ever wonder how you can positively impact the lives of thousands of Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and their drivers around the world? Then come join a team that builds technology products to continue raising the bar on DSP and DA experiences through innovations in customer support, content discovery, and workflow automation. Amazon’s DSP Platform Technology (DSP Platform Tech) team is looking for a seasoned technical product manager to build the vision and software to ensure DSPs and their drivers have the best technology experience that helps them save time and effort over the course of their day. These technologies will impact many areas of their experience, including capacity planning, on-road monitoring, payments, and a mobile experience. As a Technical Product Manager on the team, you will expand our tech platform into areas such as real-time data and sentiment analysis for thousands of small businesses that manage hundreds of thousands of employees as they deliver billions of packages safely and accurately. Your software products will incorporate leading-edge AWS and AI components to simplify day-to-day DSP and DA processes. These technology tools will empower DSP businesses to share critical feedback with the right Amazon teams and automate parts of their business, freeing them up to grow. As part of the broader Last Mile Team at Amazon, you will have a direct and lasting impact on one of the largest delivery networks in the world. Key job responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for all parts of the product journey, starting with understanding customer needs through multiple feedback mechanisms available to drivers and DSPs. Based on your research, you will build a compelling vision and roadmap through prioritization decisions that are well-reasoned and customer-oriented. You will collaborate tightly and artfully negotiate tradeoffs with internal business partners on station and program teams, while communicating efficiently and effectively through superb verbal/written skills. You will promote an innovative product process by designing scalable technical solutions to solve pain points for a rapidly growing global DSP community. Critical to your success will be partnering with technical teams by bringing crisp, clear requirements to engineers and fully engaging in technical discussions. After launching products, you will measure impact through product experimentation and data analysis. Along the way, you will anticipate and solve problems typical of a fast-paced environment, maintain stakeholder alignment, pay attention to details, and demonstrate end-to-end ownership As a seasoned technical product manager, you will add structure to ambiguity by maturely driving clarity while exercising good judgement. You will balance strategic execution with the ability to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. There will be times that you need to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces to deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Last, but not least, in this role you will lead by example to shape the culture and morale of a diverse and growing team. About the team The Delivery Service Partner Tech (DSP Tech) team creates and maintains a portfolio of DSP-facing technology tools that help DSPs build and operate entrepreneurial logistics businesses that are the backbone of Amazon’s global delivery network. The team has hubs in Bellevue, WA, Nashville, TN, and Hyderabad, India and fosters a cohesive, collaborative culture that transcends teams and org structures. In addition to executing on team roadmaps, these traits manifest through fun activities such as our Annual DSP Tech Hackathon and Community Service Days.
