Purpose of the Job

As our Senior Backend Developer, you’ll be the architect of the digital infrastructure of the various platforms we build. You’ll write Python using standard web frameworks (Django, FastAPI). People with a knack for collaboration, technical prowess, and a penchant for elegant solutions are what we are looking for.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Django, FastAPI).
  
• Your APIs will be the backbone of our applications.
  
• Primarily use using API gateway and lambda. But also have experience in developing monolith and distributed monolith applications.
  
• Work with databases for fast response time and high scalability—whether it’s SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  
• Create systems that scale gracefully. Handle traffic spikes with any hitch.
  
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers. Translate requirements into backend reality.
  
• Implement robust security measures. Good knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security issues.
  
• Optimize API response times, database queries, and overall system performance.
  
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold quality standards. Do pull request reviews.
  
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
