Senior Python Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Python development, frameworks like Django/Flask, REST APIs, and databases, along with strong problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and related frameworks (Django / Flask / FastAPI).

• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend.

• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.

• Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and services as needed.

• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver high-performance applications.

• Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.

• Maintain documentation of technical specifications and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Python development.

• Strong proficiency in Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Experience with REST API development and integration.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like PyTest or Unittest.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ for task management.

• Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or asynchronous programming.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Understanding of machine learning or data engineering concepts (if relevant to your industry).
