Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with deep experience in the Django framework and strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications and APIs in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and the Django framework
• Build and manage robust RESTful APIs and microservices
• Deploy and manage applications in the AWS cloud environment
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Python, particularly with the Django framework
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Solid understanding of REST API development and integration
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Strong grasp of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Celery, Redis, or other background task processing systems
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js

AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
