Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team at NCG. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the high standards of our software products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will be responsible for validating the functional and non-functional aspects of both web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and defect-free user experience.

Responsibilities

Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle. • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements
• Conduct comprehensive manual testing for both web and mobile applications
• Execute functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
• Log and manage bugs using JIRA or similar tools; track and ensure resolution of issues
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback
• Maintain detailed test documentation for compliance and future reference
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Provide clear and actionable feedback on product usability and performance
• Continuously improve testing processes and advocate for quality best :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing and QA
• Solid understanding of test planning, design, execution, and regression testing
• Experience working with JIRA or other defect tracking tools
• Familiarity with web and mobile application testing
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing Skills :
• Manual testing for web and mobile platforms
• Test planning and documentation
• Regression and usability testing
• Defect lifecycle management using JIRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
