Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible to lead a team while ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on various software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential risks and issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality and testability aspects of the code.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of the software products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer. With extensive experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG etc).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, JMeter, Soap UI etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter with a positive approach, who can manage their own workload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Worked in an Azure DevOps pipelines environment
  
  

Must Have

• Experience in Automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG etc). Be able to write and maintain test scripts.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with performance testing tools. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
