Senior QA Engineer

Overview

*Key Responsibilities *

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for
functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Design and implement automation frameworks for API, UI and backend
services (using tools such as Selenium, Postman, Pytest).
• Perform API testing, UI Testing, database validation, and performance
benchmarking.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance
criteria and ensure early testing involvement.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely
resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex issues and propose long-term
solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and test automation reviews to uphold QA
standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and
methodologies. ****

*Required Skills & Qualifications *

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright.
• Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools (Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins SourceTree,
etc.).
• Experience in writing automation tests using Python
• Working knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
• Experience with SQL and data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

*Nice to Have *

• Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Locust).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Exposure to AI-driven test automation or interest in exploring AI-assisted
testing tools
