Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Python and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation, data validation, and backend testing. Experience in the retail domain is a plus.

About The Role

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python
• Perform backend and database testing using SQL queries
• Validate large datasets and ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA estimates
• Ensure quality standards are met across releases
  
  

• 7 or more years of experience in QA / Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Python (automation, scripting)
• Strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, aggregations, data validation)
• Experience in API testing (REST services)
• Experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Selenium, etc.)
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC processes
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
  
  

• Retail domain experience (pricing, promotions, inventory, POS, merchandising, etc.)
• Experience with data warehouse / ETL testing
• CI/CD exposure
• Agile/Scrum experience
  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
