Senior SAP FICO (Period End Closing Business Analyst)

The Position

Period End Closing Business Analyst will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing different Period End Closing solutions to meet our organization's evolving month end closing needs for the business. This individual will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into technical designs, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems, and driving continuous improvement within the PEC solutions.

You Will be:

• Aligned with industry best practices and organizational requirements, for new features, enhancements, and deployments for the PEC solutions
• Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the implementations and roll outs to the affiliates
• Maintain deep knowledge of the PEC tools like Blackline SmartClose, Account Reconciliation, FCC, etc including the workflow of the whole PEC process
• Different integration points where the data is required to be further processed to meet the business Month End Closing requirements
• Identify and implement automation opportunities, such as auto execution of the tasks / auto certifications to ensure that the routine activities are completed without much manual intervention. Also looking at the AI space where we can add value to the business
• Drive Global template implementations, localization of processes and compliance as per Financial needs to ensure the ICFR compliance is being met
• Good understanding of the SAP FICO general topics and integration to support the business for the effective month end closing solutions
  
  

Who You are :

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions for the PEC solutions. Proven experience integrating PEC solutions with other relevant enterprise applications
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO functionality including interfaces. Strong understanding of Blackline solutions including integration capabilities and experience with APIs, middleware (e.g., Mulesoft), and SFTP. Understanding of cloud-based solutions and architecture. Knowledge in end-to-end finance and controlling daily operations
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Finance and related Period End Closing processes. Understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. Demonstrating essential expertise in a global, multicultural, time-zone-spanning work environment, preferably. Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or other validated environments would be regarded as beneficial
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong stakeholder management abilities & Ability to adapt to changing priorities
