Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP HANA SQL Developer with 6 to 8 years of expertise in SAP HANA development and SQL programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing data models, writing complex SQL scripts, and supporting business-critical reporting and analytics on the SAP HANA platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQLScript-based stored procedures, functions, and Calculation Views on SAP HANA.
• Develop graphical and scripted Calculation Views (Attribute, Analytical, and Calculation Views) in SAP HANA Studio or SAP Web IDE.
• Write efficient and scalable SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and design HANA data models to support various business processes.
• Perform query tuning, performance optimization, and code reviews for HANA models and SQL scripts.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of data within SAP HANA.
• Implement data integration and automation pipelines from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Collaborate with analytics/reporting teams to enable data consumption via tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI tools.
• Ensure best practices for HANA modeling, security, and governance are followed.
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills:

• 6 to 8 years of experience as an SAP HANA Developer with strong focus on SQLScript and HANA modeling.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Calculation Views (graphical and SQL-scripted).
• Expertise in data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake, normalization, and denormalization).
• Proficiency in query optimization and performance tuning techniques in HANA.
• Experience working with SAP HANA Cloud or SAP HANA On-Premise.
• Good understanding of data provisioning tools such as SDI, SDA, or SLT.
• Experience in HANA Security concepts, including analytical privileges and role creation.
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP applications (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA) and external systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to XS Classic or XS Advanced (XSA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, or automation frameworks for HANA developments.
• Experience integrating with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI platforms.
• SAP certifications related to HANA or SQL development are preferred.
