Project description
Our customer is embarking on a project to significantly extend the functionality of their Capital Markets Platform (Calypso). This is a multi-year project focusing on Backoffice functionality related to FX, FXD and IRD products.
Responsibilities
Leading the project team across 4 squads into delivery in an agile environment to manage and deliver project scope within budget
Ensure project phases completes on time and on budget
Managing 4 Scrum squads, managing the backlog, sprint planning
Running daily team huddles
Controlling the Resource plan and associated budget
Coordinating releases
Delegating stories to team members
Coordinating with other project and technology teams for example to align data requirements
Skills
Must have
6+ years experience as scrum master/project manager
Strong in agile methodology with combination of relevant certification(s) and deep hands-on experience
Financial Markets experience is a must
Managed projects for the last 5 years in an agile delivery methodology
Excellent communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Able to investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot tasks.
Some technical background and willingness/attitude to look at technical details if required
Nice to have
Capital Markets Experience especially on FX
Familiarity with data structures, SQL and other technologies
