About The Team

The team consists of collaborative, high-performing engineers with the mandate to build, enhance, and maintain algorithms to optimize complex supply chains.

Our algorithms move the global economy—in seconds, not hours or days. Our customers have terabytes of data that need to be analyzed for the largest supply chains imaginable. If you are passionate about solving complex problems at scale using advanced AI/ML techniques, including reinforcement learning (RL), and have a strong focus on product strategy in inventory optimization, this is the place to be.

What you will do

• Innovate and Optimize: Investigate cutting-edge techniques that combine class-leading heuristics with optimization to revolutionize supply chain efficiency.
• Model Real-World Challenges: Translate complex, real-world Supply Chain Management use cases into robust and scalable mathematical models.
• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead the design and implementation of advanced mathematical models for strategic inventory optimization and operations research, driving impactful solutions.
• Leverage AI/ML: Develop and apply sophisticated AI/ML techniques, including reinforcement learning (RL), to tackle intricate supply chain problems and enhance decision-making processes.
• Ensure Reliability: Define comprehensive test strategies and develop detailed test plans to guarantee the reliability and performance of algorithms.
• Maintain Robust Software: Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and debugging processes to ensure robust and error-free software.
• Automate Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using modern testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with agile team members and other stakeholders to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic growth.
• Shape the Future: Contribute to the strategic direction of Kinaxis by leading initiatives that expand our capabilities and market presence.

What we are looking for

• Masters/Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or equivalent.
• Total 6+ years of industry experience, predominantly in building high-performance applications.
• A love of data structures and algorithms, and the desire to apply them in the real world.
• Experience in creating mathematical models of real-world optimization problems.
• Experience in commercial solvers (Gurobi, Xpress, CPLEX).
• Strength in AI/ML, particularly reinforcement learning (MDPs) and inventory optimization.

• Experience in Supply Chain network optimization is a definite plus
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms like Azure/GCP
