Overview

The Mission

We are Repcus Labs, an early-stage SaaS startup effectively rewriting the playbook for e-commerce enablement using AI. We build the critical infrastructure that drives revenue for major D2C brands: from loyalty programs to shoppable videos.

Our code lives on the "critical path" of our merchants' storefronts. A bug on our end doesn't just annoy users, but halts sales and results in millions of dollars in lost revenue.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer who thinks like an Architect and acts like a SRE. We need a builder who understands the internals of modern web architecture to build a robust, automated defense system around our entire stack.

Who You Are

You are a Software Engineer first. You have likely spent years building full-stack applications and realized that robustness is the hardest feature to build. You look at a framework and ask "how does this work under the hood?" rather than just "how do I use this?"

The Must-Haves:

• Polyglot proficiency: deep experience in TypeScript plus at least one systems language (Go or Rust). You understand memory management, concurrency, and strict typing
• Architectural depth: you have built scalable, event-driven backend APIs and understand how to test them in isolation and integration
• Frontend mastery: you have worked on complex UI projects (Dashboards, Component Libraries) and understand the React lifecycle deeply
• Testing ecosystem: expert knowledge of modern testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Vitest, Go testing)
• Observability & Data: strong grasp of monitoring tools and concepts (Tracing, Metrics, Logs) and an understanding of data pipelines (ETL)
• Mobile exposure: Some familiarity with the React Native / Expo ecosystem

The "Good to Haves" (Bonus Points):

• Experience with the Shopify Ecosystem or other e-commerce platforms
• Background in SRE, DevOps, or previous experience as a System Architect
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Docker) for setting up test environments.
• Knowledge of SaaS compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
