Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core Developer) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications using .NET Core and Azure. You will be working on designing microservices-based architectures, implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of web applications. If you are passionate about building cloud-based, modern applications and have hands-on experience with .NET Core, Azure, Microservices, and CI/CD practices, we want to hear from you!
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with .NET Core for developing scalable, high-performance applications.
- Expertise in building cloud-based applications using Azure, including services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Cosmos DB.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools for automating build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with both relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB).
- Solid experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker), and orchestration.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and share best practices.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with message queues such as Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ for inter-service communication.
- Experience with cloud security practices and implementing secure authentication (OAuth, JWT).
- Familiarity with Automated Testing tools such as NUnit, XUnit, or similar frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- .NET Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using .NET Core.
- Cloud Integration with Azure: Build cloud-native applications and services utilizing Azure components like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage.
- Microservices Architecture: Develop microservices-based applications, ensuring that they are modular, scalable, and easily maintainable.
- CI/CD Implementation: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other relevant tools to automate builds, testing, and deployment workflows.
- API Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable communication between microservices and third-party systems.
- Database Management: Work with both relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL to ensure efficient data storage and access.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize application performance to ensure low latency and high availability in cloud environments.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to software development best practices. Conduct code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Agile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to delivering high-quality software in iterative cycles.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and development environments, ensuring stability and reliability.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to building a culture of excellence within the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-6 years of professional experience in .NET Core development, with a solid understanding of cloud-native applications and microservices.
