Senior Software Engineer - Equity

About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience on .Net Core and .Net Framework experience (specifically C#, ASP.NET, MVC).
• Hands on experience on web development in JavaScript UI frameworks like Angular, ReactJS
• Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience in working with Microsoft SQL, WPF, Entity Framework and ETL
• Experience working with cloud development like Azure, OCP (OpenShift Container Platform).
• Experience of exposure and knowledge on different DevOps tools on CI/CD process - TFS/SVN/GitHub, Jenkins, Harness, Blackduck, Checkmarx.
• In depth, practical experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), microservices, orchestration etc...
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience in Investment banking, Equity trading is added advantage.
  
  

Job Expectations:

• Should have exposure to Cloud governance and logging/monitoring tools.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps concepts and SRE principles.
• Experience in scripting (Shell, Python)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences
• Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure.
• Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
