About the HRIS Product Team at Rippling:

Rippling is rapidly expanding its customer base, supporting larger enterprise customers, and launching new lines of business across its 20+ products, all while scaling globally. At the hear of this ecosystem is Employee Records, a foundational element that powers not only HR products but also integrates seamlessly with every product to deliver a unified, cohesive experience.

The HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) team plays a critical role in managing all aspects of employee data, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and transitions. The team's mission is to ensure the correctness and completeness of employee records, which serve as the backbone of Rippling’s ecosystem.

HRIS operates at the forefront of Rippling’s growth, building new products at high velocity to support expansion into new verticals and customer segments while maintaining the integrity of data. As the entry point for any new customer or product integration, the HRIS team is pivotal to delivering Rippling’s vision of a unified platform for modern workforce management.

HRIS Product Verticals

  • HRIS Flows Experience: Focused on creating simple, intuitive workflows that empower Rippling's customers to manage employee data seamlessly.
  • HRIS Flows Infrastructure: Provides the scalable backbone for all flow products, prioritizing reliability, data integrity, and performance at scale.
  • HRIS Country Expansion and Configurability: Focused on HRIS’s expansion and growth to multiple countries across the globe and enable companies to configure their flows.Dedicated to expanding and developing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) globally, facilitating customizable workflow configurations for businesses worldwide.
  • HR Applications: Develops essential tools and interfaces for customers to view, manage, and interact with employee data effectively.
  • Org Management: Enables the creation and maintenance of company structures tailored to organizations of all sizes and complexities.

What You Will Do

  • Join the HRIS Country Org Management team, where you'll tackle fascinating challenges related to sustainable growth in diverse international markets.
  • Create innovative products from the ground up and experience exponential scaling, from 0->1 launch to widespread adoption.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into a software design; communicate the designs to the other developers in the team.
  • Review and share feedback on code, features, technology, architecture, and designs. Drive the standards around code quality and testing across your product.
  • Provide mentorship junior engineers on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy
  • Have exposure to business and technical leadership to strategize what can improve our revenue and our ability to scale rapidly

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 6+ years of programming experience on frontend engineering.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of the duties
  • Ideally experience in scaling products 0->1 and 1->100
  • Experience in technology stack : Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them
  • Infectious passion for solving real customer pain points
  • Experience in building scalable distributed systems
