Job Summary

The developer within this role will be responsible for writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of software and system-supported process integration. The developer will also work with the IT departments of clients and vendors throughout any implementation or integration initiatives to ensure a smooth and timely transition that is aligned with the corporate values. The developer will demonstrate creativity and innovation, the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, and possess excellent time management, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing coding assignments.
• Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality.
• Creating and implementing design plans.
• Analyzing code segments regularly.
• Coordinating tasks with team members.
• Keeping current with industry trends and technology developments.
• Understand the clients’ and vendors current and ongoing system needs, capabilities, and limitations.
• Assist the Directory of Technical Services in meeting the department’s stated objectives.
• Support others within the organization as necessary to increase overall value.
• Other duties as identified by the Directory of Technical Services.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline
• 5+ years of progressive experience in software/system design and development
• Experience with Java and SQL, as well as popular libraries such as MapStruct, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel
• Experience with EDI implementations and supporting technologies like SFTP, encryption/decryption, and document management
• Experience with Healthcare x12 based transaction sets, including 837, 835, 277, and 999
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills as well as strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong team orientation and the ability to work with a diverse group of people who possess wide range of technological understanding
