Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the Helix Continuous Optimization team. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in Java, JVM tuning, Kubernetes, and performance optimization. You will play a key role in designing scalable backend systems, enhancing application performance, and deploying services in a cloud-native Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Go.
- Profile and optimize JVM-based services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Architect and deploy solutions using Kubernetes in production environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Integrate and manage monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and deep understanding of JVM internals.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in live environments.
- Proficiency in Go (Golang).
- Strong background in performance tuning and backend optimization.
- Experience with JMX exporters, JVM monitoring, and profiling tools.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices Qualifications :
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or infrastructure engineering.
