Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software components close to the operating system level on Windows and/or macOS platforms.
- Write clean, concise, and well-tested C++ code, adhering to the latest standards.
- Lead or contribute significantly to critical projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Perform in-depth research and analysis of operating system internals to support software development and troubleshooting.
- Debug and navigate complex codebases using advanced tools and techniques with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop multi-platform and cross-platform solutions.
- Engage in kernel-mode software development and contribute to improving system-level performance and reliability (advantageous).
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment and focus on delivering results against challenging technical problems.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders in English to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Continuously improve software design and implementation by staying current with industry trends and best :
- At least 7-10 years of experience in software development.
- Very good demonstrable understanding of operating systems internals.
- Experience in software development on Windows and/or macOS platforms close to the OS level.
- You are fluent in C++, preferably up to date with the latest iterations of the standard.
- Proven experience in leading or being an important individual contributor for one or more significant projects.
- Consistently write concise and very well-tested code.
- You can navigate and debug complex code using the tools available, and you have a very strong attention to detail.
- You can do OS-level research.
- Experience in kernel-mode software development is an advantage.
- Experience in multi-platform/cross-platform development, especially on Windows and macOS platforms, is an advantage as well.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and you are result-oriented.
- You are the problem solver and like challenging tasks.
- You communicate clearly and concisely in English.
