Senior Software Engineer- Python

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Python and Gen AI Development Engineer. In this role you will be actively involved in designing, building, and maintaining robust software solutions using Python. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects, and your leadership will guide junior developers toward excellence.

What You’ll Do:

1. Design and Development:

Create Python-based applications and systems that form the backbone of our software projects.

Ensure functionality, performance, and maintainability through well-structured code.

1. GenAI capabilities:

Design, develop, and deploy production-scale Agentic AI workflows and multi-model RAG pipelines using frameworks like Lang Graph etc with a specific focus on implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) for low-latency tool integration and real-time inference.

1. Leadership & Mentorship:

Assume leadership positions, providing technical guidance to junior developers.

Foster a collaborative environment and ensure adherence to best practices.

1. Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.

Align software development with business objectives.

1. Code Quality Assurance:

Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and suggesting areas for improvement.

Uphold best practices and coding standards.

1. Troubleshooting and Debugging:

Identify and resolve code bugs promptly.

Utilize strong problem-solving skills to maintain flawless software operation.

1. Staying Informed:

Stay up to date with the latest trends and standards in Python development.

Familiarize yourself with new technologies and tools.

1. Performance Optimization:

Optimize and test software to ensure functionality and smooth operation.

1. Documentation:

Maintain proper code documentation and technical specifications.

Ensure transparency and accessibility for the development team.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

3 to 7 years of experience in software development processes using Python

Minimum 6 month to 1 year hands on experience into Generative AI, Lang-chain and Agentic AI

Hands on experience with Object Oriented Python

Good knowledge of the popular web frameworks and libs - Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc

Knowledge of the data-processing libs (Pandas, NumPy, Sklearn, etc) – a strong plus

A good understanding of RESTful API

Good working understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS or Microsoft Azure

Good working understanding of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Vector, etc.

Experience with Docker

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, ...) is a plus

Strong testing and debugging skills

Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

Desire and ability to rapidly learn a wide variety of new technical skills

An analytical mind, with problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills, both spoken and written

Experience with system architecture

Strong knowledge of software design patterns.
