Role Overview Description
Senior Software Engineer - Platform
We are looking for a Platform-focused Senior Software Engineer with 4-6 years of experience who is passionate about building robust infrastructure for recruitment solutions. You'll be instrumental in creating the backbone systems that power our AI agents, transform recruitment workflows, and enable next-generation candidate experiences.
You will be deeply involved in creating infrastructure that processes millions of workflow messages from disparate external systems, orchestrating containerized applications, managing batch processing jobs, and optimizing cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, and infrastructure automation will be essential as we scale our platform globally.
Your code will have millions of eyeballs from 200 countries right from Azerbaijan to Australia and closer to home, you will help hire from Jhumritalaiya to Jammu.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Create and optimize batch processing systems for data-intensive operations
- Architect and develop platform services that enable rapid development by other teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience developing software on a Java/J2EE and relational database stack
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment and management
- Experience implementing and optimizing batch processing jobs
- Proficiency with technologies like Spring, Hibernate, SQL, and REST
- Ability to harness AI as an engineering assistant to improve productivity and code quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with frontend development - JavaScript frameworks like Backbone/Angular
- Data science experience - fetching data from multiple sources, modeling, and extracting information with familiarity in tooling, processing, and deployment (MongoDB, Hadoop, Mahout, Neo4j, etc.)
- Information security experience - OWASP Security principles and implementation
