Job Summary

A Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science or related subject is required. Between 8-11 years of prior software development experience as a role of Lead/Senior Software Engineer where majority of work comprised of managing the team, developing code on Microsoft technologies including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML & CSS, SQL Server, and Azure

Skillset Requirement

• Experience in developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML & CSS, and SQL Server is mandatory.
• Strong ability to write Stored Procedure utilizing SQL is mandatory.
• Experience in working with Entity Framework is preferable.
• Experience in working with WEB API is highly preferable.
• Experience in ASP.Net Core is highly preferable.
• Experience in Entity Framework Core is an added advantage.
• Experience in Azure is an added advantage.
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Application design, develop and maintenance throughout the development life cycle to include: low-level design, prototyping, testing, implementation, maintenance and system documentation
• Code and unit test, code review.
• Create and maintain up-to-date system documentation for systems responsible; including high level and detail design, unit test plans, system specific standards and installation instructions
• Maintain timeliness of deliverables
• Timely Escalation / Status updates / Reporting
• Problem solving, Ability to derive solutions independently
• Responsible for assuring system developments or enhancements have been adequately tested prior to release to test environment
• Design database schemas for enhancements and new requirements
• Responsible for system Performance and Tuning
• Ability to lead and mentor junior associates.
• Assist with preparation of rollout documentation in preparation for system releases to test and production
• Source Control Management for all object-oriented source code utilizing TFS
• Participate in code walk through
• Ensure that the Company IS standards and methodologies are adhered to, including posting appropriate documentation on the IS Intranet
• Perform adequate Research and Development to ensure technologies and solutions are optimum approaches.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Successful delivery of high-quality software deliverables (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Communicate the decision and the logic behind the decision
• Deep technical understanding and extraordinary passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers
