Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our product engineering team. You will be responsible for building intuitive, performant, and scalable user interfaces that interact seamlessly with our microservices-based backend. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values clean architecture, and enjoys solving complex UI/UX challenges at scale.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using Angular (v12+)
- Architect and implement modular and configurable UIs, including micro frontend strategies
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and event-driven data flows
- Translate complex business requirements into elegant and maintainable UI components
- Optimize frontend performance, including lazy loading, bundle size reduction, and runtime efficiency
- Implement and maintain state management (e.g., NgRx, Akita) for large-scale applications
- Integrate and manage feature flags using tools like Flagsmith to enable dynamic feature rollout
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, or similar
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring junior developers
- Contribute to the evolution of our design system and component library
- Work with DevOps to streamline frontend build and deployment pipelines
- 7–10 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on Angular
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
- Experience with RxJS and reactive programming patterns
- Strong grasp of component-based architecture, modular design, and lazy loading
- Proven experience building micro frontends and configurable UI components
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling
- Exposure to event-driven systems and working with microservices-based backends
- Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools, and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
