Software Engineer - DevOps

The Purpose of Your Role
Fidelity's Enterprise Technology group is looking for a Tech savvy Software Engineer to join the team to work on design, implementation, testing and support activities on the features for enterprise ALM platforms. The Software Engineer will work closely with technical leads, stakeholders and product managers to support and enhance the products. You must be self-directed and highly motivated individual.

The Skills You Bring
- Experience and good knowledge of AWS, mainly VPC, load balancers, EC2, compute, lambda, storage, RDS, EFS, S3 etc
- Experience with REST API development, API gateways
- Knowledge with automation & pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline)/ DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git Stash, Artifactory
- Passion for testing as a core part of the development process
- Familiarity and usability with Cloudwatch, datadog for observability
- Good to have previous work experience on or supported Jira/confluence applications
- Experience working with any SAAS products
- You have experience and comfort working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban)
- You are a strategic problem solver, bring your curiosity and excitement; desire to collaborate and work closely in a paired programming environment; be energized by fast, iterative, and acute programming practices
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy experimenting, developing, and communicating alternatives
- You have maniacal focus on automation and always looking towards reducing waste and improving efficiencies
- You should enjoy communicating and learning the business behind the application

Must have -
- AWS ( S3, EKS, Lambad, Storage, RDS, EC2, Lambad, Load balancer )
- DevOps, CICD Jennkins, Github,
- Docker, Kubernetes,
- Monitoring tools e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog & Splunk
- Automation Tool : Ansible.
- Scripting knowledge : Python / Shell, AWS, Yaml
