This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. What you'll get to do...

• Design, develop, and optimize back-end services, APIs, and systems that power GoDaddy’s applications.
• Work with distributed systems and microservices to create scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end engineers, and data teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices in software development.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions, influencing the technical direction of our platforms.

Your experience should include...

• Proven experience in back-end development, building, and maintaining complex systems and APIs.
• 4+ years of experience in languages such as Java, C#, and C++.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and caching strategies.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

You might also have...

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
