Senior Software Engineer

The Job

• Being part of the team, building world-class analytics backend product that delivers high-performance, at scale Analytics and Insights to our customers.
• Ensure the team follows best practices in programming when building production grade solutions.
• Build the data architecture, optimized for loading and query performance.
• Work both independently and close together in a strong, agile team that develops the key components which makes up the heart of our Analytics product
• Be involved in all phases of the projects – from analysis, design and development to maintenance and customer support.
• This position is located in Bangalore

What skills you bring In:

• BE or ME (or equivalent degree) degree in Engineering or Computer Science with at 3-7 years of professional experience
• Strong experience in building products or solutions in Python (Backend Development using Python is MUST)
• DB experience (Mandatory) – Vertica is preferred
• Are experienced in working in a Linux development environment
• Have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
• Know and care about sound engineering practices like automated testing and continuous delivery
