Overview
- Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define and deliver features.
- Own the backend architecture for specific HR modules (e.g., leave, payroll, onboarding).
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application.
- Write clean, testable and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
- Optimize database performance and data structures for HR workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring and driving technical excellence across the team.
- Handle third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, Aadhaar, PAN verification, etc.).
- 5–7 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Node.js and Java
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (MySQL).
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
