• Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Automated QA Test Engineer will be part of a team of contract developers to design and implement new features and integrations for StreamLabs products and systems.

Job Responsibilities: AWS QA Automation Engineers design, develop, test, and deploy automated solutions within the AWS environment. Leverage AWS services like AWS Lambda for serverless computing, AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, and AWS CodePipeline for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.

Skills :

• AWS Services: Understanding of core AWS services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch. Knowledge of AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model) or AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) for defining and deploying serverless applications.
• Serverless Architecture: Familiarity with serverless architecture principles and best practices. Ability to design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS services.
• Automated Testing: Proficiency in automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Jest, or JUnit. Experience in creating and executing automated test scripts for serverless applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for automating the deployment of serverless infrastructure.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for serverless applications using tools like AWS CodePipeline , Bitbubket Piplines or Github Actions.
• Testing Strategies: Understanding of testing strategies for serverless applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Monitoring and Logging: Ability to monitor and log serverless applications using AWS CloudWatch or similar tools. Experience in setting up alerts and notifications for monitoring serverless applications.
• Security and Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices for serverless applications, including data encryption, access control, and compliance requirements.
• Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript (preferred), Python or Node.js for writing automated test scripts.
• Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in serverless development, such as JavaScript (preferred) or TypeScript.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize serverless applications for performance and scalability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in automated testing processes.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to document and communicate test results, issues, and recommendations effectively.
• Designing and implementing automated end-to-end testing and systems integration testing.
• Designing and testing against API documentation to validate response schemas, authentication, authorization, response time.
• Ability to design and implement automated smoke test and regression tests and tools/scripts to assist with manual QA.
Extensive experience with Postman

Education: B.S or M.S degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or other applicable engineering discipline
