Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot, with familiarity in modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native environments (preferably GCP).
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous code quality improvement.
- Utilize Bitbucket for source control and contribute to CI/CD workflows.
- Ensure application security and quality using tools like SonarQube and Snyk.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using Grafana and logging tools.
- Work in an Agile development environment and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Kafka for asynchronous processing
- Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and processes
- Understanding of secure coding practices, code quality tools (SonarQube, Snyk)
- Basic experience with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Cloud Logging
- Exposure to GCP or any cloud platform is a plus
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python for scripting or automation
- Exposure to Terraform or cloud infrastructure concepts
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
