Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot, with familiarity in modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native environments (preferably GCP).

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous code quality improvement.
• Utilize Bitbucket for source control and contribute to CI/CD workflows.
• Ensure application security and quality using tools like SonarQube and Snyk.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using Grafana and logging tools.
• Work in an Agile development environment and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Kafka for asynchronous processing
• Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and processes
• Understanding of secure coding practices, code quality tools (SonarQube, Snyk)
• Basic experience with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Cloud Logging
• Exposure to GCP or any cloud platform is a plus
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Python for scripting or automation
• Exposure to Terraform or cloud infrastructure concepts
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
