Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) will play a key role in designing, building, and evolving mobile applications at Ipsator. For this role, Flutter is the primary mobile stack, and strong hands-on expertise is expected.

Alongside Flutter, the role will involve working with Android/Kotlin-based technologies, including Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), as part of specific mobile initiatives. The role requires technical ownership, independent execution, and contribution to architectural decisions within the mobile domain.

Key Responsibilities

● Design and develop production-ready mobile features using Flutter.

● Contribute to mobile architecture, patterns, and code quality.

● Review code and support consistent engineering practices within the team.

● Work with shared business logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) where applicable.

● Apply Android/Kotlin fundamentals to cross-platform problem solving.

● Collaborate with backend, product, design, and QA teams.

● Support releases, stability, and continuous improvements.

● Debug and resolve complex issues across Android and iOS environments.

Requirements

✓ Strong hands-on experience building production apps using Flutter.

✓ Good understanding of Flutter architecture, state management, and performance.

✓ Solid experience with Android development using Kotlin.

✓ Familiarity with mobile lifecycles, concurrency, and local persistence.

✓ Experience integrating APIs and handling failure scenarios.

✓ Ability to own features end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Preferred

Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or understanding of its use cases.

Familiarity with Jetpack Compose (Android); interest in Compose Multiplatform.

Experience working on large or multi-module mobile codebases.

Experience improving performance, stability, or release quality.

Comfort working in evolving architectures and fast-moving teams.
